Hello!
My name is Tara Butler, I am 13 and a half years old and I live in Ireland!
In December 2010 I was diagnosed with leukemia and had a tough battle for my life for a while but in February 2012 I was given the all clear! I am now a normal happy teenager. Ever since I was given the all clear, I have been realising how lucky I am to be alive still as many people die from this disease. My motto is to always live life to the fullest, thats why I am here writing asking you to help me fundraise.
My friend Lizzy and I are hoping to go to Dubai to speak to a bunch of children who are suffering from leukemia in the 'American Hospital' on June 14th 2013 for one week but unfortunately I am having a bit of trouble funding for it. It costs $1700 USD for flights and accommodation. My parents are helping me out with $1000. If I could raise any amount of money whatsoever I would be more than greatful!
Every cent counts, whether it be $1 or $100, I will appreciate it!
