Hi, I'm Noora. 29 year old currently living in Malaga, Spain - I was born and raised in Finland but those winters weren't for me. In the last 10 years of my life, I have had 10 different jobs, anything from being a waitress to selling houses. Unfortunately, 99% of these jobs have ended because of me burning out. I suffer from type 1 bipolar disorder and PTSD and these two things have been making my life absolute hell.

I have tried to fit into what people think is normal, going to a 9-5 job, doing what other people tell me to do. There is nothing wrong with this kind of normal and it is what keeps our world running. But for somebody like me whose life is black and white, highest highs and lowest lows it just doesn't work out.

So in my free time have been working really hard trying to come up with something that is all my own, something that I can love and build. And that's how streetwear brand BLVCKWHT. was born. My first collection is called 'Life is better in blvck and white', this is because I finally want to embrace who I am, with my disorders and problems. I just need to make my life fit these things, not fight against them. I want to make something good out of something that's been putting me down for so long.

If everything goes as planned, my brand will donate % of our profits generated through our online store every month to a non-profit mental health organization. (No money raised through this campaign will be donated to charity.)
