Help me to help save live’s:)

Hello I am Nuwantha from Sri Lanka, I have decided to dedicated my life in becoming a Doctor and help save people's lives. I have all the academic qualifications necessary to start on my journey to help people but I lack the funding.

So I went in search of scholarship's to education fair's where University representatives from all different country's were present. When I Inquired on if they had full or partial scholarship's from all of the University's that offered MBBS or MD degree. They told me that they don't and I asked what is the reason behind this and what they told me was just sad: "The university's around the world don't give full or partial scholarships for the MBBS or MD program because it is one of the courses which helps University to make big profits from as it is in high demand." Which basically means they care more about reaping profits than helping the community and helping save lives, this being said this leaves me to find funding to dedicate 6 years of my life to learn and gain the experience that is necessary for me to be able to help save people's lives. This is quite the daunting task but I feel confident we can raise this amount as even the smallest of contribution matters the most.

I joined this site after much convinvcing from my friends to share my story and ask for help and was really saving this as the last resort. So please hear out my life's journey;

So let me tell you why I need your help, I am right now 19 years old and when I was 4 my father abandoned our family and left us with no financial support. Thus my mother had to fend for us by herself and she was successful in doing so and have helped me and my brother successfully pass out from high school, where I was able to achieve 4A* & 3A's for my CIE OLevel and 1A* & 2A's for my CIE ALevel where these results is more than enough to help me get into any medical college but I lack the funding for it. I have also searched for full scholarships for the MBBS/MD degree but almost no university's have any. After passing out of high school I have done numerous jobs to try and earn the amount required for my tertiary education.

Also recently I lost my job due the terrorist attack that happened on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka, I was a marketing manager at a hotel where due the attacks so many bookings got canceled and thus the hotel went almost bankrupt and had to cutdown on the staff as the tourism market was hit massively.

This did leave me devastated and lost for around a month and right now I survive off freelancing online to help earn the funds i need, I will not give up on my passion and need to help save people's lives as I have gone through so many depriving situations in my past and I am not privileged to have the opportunity to pursue my tertiary education due to lack of funding.

Now you must be thinking if he is able to earn the funds on his own why does he need my help? The problem is that I need to earn the funds before i turn 25 as that is the age they stop accepting med students and All I am able to earn per month is 30,000LKR from freelancing that is $170. Whereas the cheapest country I can get my MBBS/MD degree is in China and this is a 6 year program which will cost around 9 Million LKR in total that is $52000 USD.
So in One year All i can earn is $2040 and right now i am 19years old so i have 5 years till i am not eligible for Med school that means: $2040*5, meaning i will have earnt $10,200 when I am 25 which is not even 1/4 of the total tuition fee for the degree:(

I will pay for my own flights, transfers, visas, medical insurance, accommodation and living costs whilst out there. Covering the tuition fee is the biggest challenge I face right now.

This is why I desperately need your help so that I may become a Doctor and help people in need.
