 Help me to help others?

Hi there, My name is David, I have been suffering with depression and anxiety for the past 5 years. Only to be diagnosed last year. I have been signed off from work for much of 2011 and the beginning of this year.

I must admit, as hard as it is to go through the darkest moments of depression, it has now helped me open my eyes to a brighter future that I aim to achieve...

You see, with the depression, I have been able to open my eyes and realise what it is I long to do. However, the issue I have is financial setbacks...

I have £13,000 of debts I need to clear, I have business ideas that I wish to follow up on but need to raise the funds, I also wish to tour the UK and Holland in order to gain more experience playing darts, Though more importantly... I need to raise enough money so that I can quit my current employment to chase my biggest dreams of... spending more time with my children and being a proper father (Myself and their mother split 5 years ago and I see them as little as every 2^nd weekend) Finally though I have looked back on my youth and realised my true calling in life... I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO HELP OTHERS!!

The only thing holding me back is that I am stuck in a dead-end, underpaid job. I need the finances that will allow me to get out from my employment. This is where I need your help...

I am looking for donations to help me achieve all of my above dreams :) In return I will keep you posted on all that I do to help others through charity work etc, I will keep you posted on how I spend my time with my children, How I get on with the darts competitions (and how I raise funds for charity through this) , I will also keep you updated on how much I earn for charity every month.

I have also one more thing that I would like to mention and that is that I have created an e-book with all of my poetry works. I have some nice feedback from the public on the website www.voicesnet.com so decided to try and use this as a means of raising funds. I will be selling this at a price of £2.50 per e-book with £1.50 of each sell being added and donated to charity.

The charities of my choice are:

1. Rileys First steps. This is a charity for my cousins son Riley. Riley has Cerebral Palsy and has had treatment in the USA to help him walk. Future funds raised are required for further treatment and physiotherapy.

    

2. Barnardo's. Helping raise funds for homeless children.
