Most of us know the difficult humanitarian conditions for the residents of the Gaza Strip, where more than two million people have been living under occupation and siege for years. As a result of the Israeli siege, poverty is increasing and thousands of families are now living below the poverty line. I am one of these families but my story is a bit different. My mother has been suffering from mental illness for 20 years and suffers from a weakness in the heart muscle.
