I am raising funds to apply for a new UK visa to stay with my husband in the UK. Our story is simple and not at the same time. We met in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and fell in love and secretly engaged. We spent nearly every day together before we had to part and return to our homes. He is British, I am Russian. 2 months we were trying to figure out what to do next. I was too proud and too independent to let his parents pay for my tickets and to live with them, I just felt that it wasn't right. Instead I jumped on a plane back to Vietnam hoping to earn enough money to pay for myself. It didn't quite work out. Comparing to the UK, Vietnam is cheap.. We were 4 months apart when he came to see me in Vietnam. 10 days flew fast, but we didn't move towards solving our problem of how to be together.

He broke up our engagement after another month, saying that he wanted a normal life. In 10 more days he was back to Vietnam, saying that he couldn't be without me. I know what he felt, long-distance relationship was making me crazy, too. 3 more months together - and his visa expired, time to part again. This time I couldn't stay in the same place and have the same life, but without him. I flew back to Russia and we started application process. My application for tourist visa was rejected, there was not enough evidence that our relationship was genuie, they said. We then decided that it is the time to make our engagement public and started preparing documents for a fiance visa. We checked every page with lawyers. After 4 months, 400+ pages of documents, 3 trips across Russia to pass English tets, make TBTests and finally hand in the documents at the visa centre, the application for the visa was rejected on unjustified grounds. Our lawyers appealed against it straight away and included a copy of the document from gov.co.uk that proved that there was no mistake made, but the appeal would take up to 12 months. Apart again.

Discussing what to do brought us to Germany, where I stayed for 45 days (duration of my Schengen visa) and he stayed for twice longer. He was trying to get a job there, but Germany was not our place and it only proved that it would be difficult to make another visa for me. Again. When we applyed for a UK fiance visa, we had to book the date of our marriage, book venue and so on. 14 April 2018. With the irony of fate, I left Germany and left Will without any idea when I see him again on the day we were supposed to get married.

There was no news from the UK embassy, so we decided to try to move to Ireland. We found a program by Griffith University for me that would allow me to work and study in Ireland. Visa application was rejected because my UK visa had been rejected and Irish embassy thought that I would cross border between Ireland and the UK illegally.

Finally, after 5 months I received a letter from UK embassy, their decision had been withdrawn! Another 4 weeks and I was holding my passport with the visa to the UK in it, one more week and I was holding his hand, thinking that all troubles are behind and only happy future is waiting for us ahead.

But another 400+ pages visa should be submitted. And I am asking for help those who read our story till the end to make a donation of any kind to help me and us with a new visa, to help us not part again.

We have spent more than £7000 on visas and lawyers, and application fees, and insuarance fees. Those, who ever had to make a visa to the UK, know what a pain it is. We are working on a startup and therefore living without income. I can offer you a discount at Predrinkdelivery in return. Launch date is 1st of October,2019.
