This summer I have the wonderful opportunity to travel to China with the Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange program and teach Chinese teachers about American culture and the English language.
When I'm not teaching I will be exploring the city and historical sites. I am a 9th/10th grade World Literature English teacher and I would love to learn more about the Chinese culture.
The program will be paying for my room and board, but I have to pay for my round-trip flight, insurance and visa, which as you know can be quite costly for a teacher. This is where you come in! I'm hoping wonderful people like you will help fund my trip so I can make this a reality.
