Help me take “Virtual Reality” to the elderly at my nursing home

Hello everyone. My name is Pawel, I'm 32 years of age and I live in Germany.

My job as a flight attendant allows me to spend good quality time (in my spare time) volunteering at local retirement homes (otherwise known as "nursing/old age homes").

Recently I have had the pleasure to be given virtual reality glasses.

Virtual reality (VR) is a computer technology that uses Virtual reality headsets to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment.

A person using virtual reality equipment is able to "look around" the artificial world and, with high quality VR, move about in it and interact with virtual features or items.

The experience is incredible.

I would love to share this incredible VR experience with my folks at the nursing home.

Unfortunately, VR requires very powerful hardware (PC or notebook) to run smoothly (or at all.)

My old notebook is by far not capable to run VR and my budget does not allow me to purchase such a notebook without any help.

I therefore seek your support to help me purchase such a powerful notebook.

I will then have a mobile device which I could then, together with the VR glasses, take to the retirement home and give my beautiful people an amazing experience which they will not forget for a long time.

I hope I can count on your help. I will make sure, once I have reached my target and purchased the notebook, to provide every backer with footage of the reactions of their experience.
