Help me take Gandhi to China!

Hey guys… So I have a favour to ask those willing…

Most of you know that my gorgeous puppy, Gandhi, is coming with me to China when I leave India in a few weeks, and then coming back home to England…

For those of you that don't know, here's our story...

I came to the Western Himalayas in May to volunteer for an NGO, and at the end of my first month found a litter of twelve wild puppies living in a cave near us. Two had already died, leaving ten, and the smallest was struggling to survive. When I found her, she was terrified, exhausted, starved, and refused to eat anything. We eventually forced her to eat some food, but this hunger strike earned her the name Gandhi.

Because she probably wasn't going to survive in the wild, I decided that I'd adopt Gandhi to take her with me when I leave. Now she's been living with me for two months and she's my best friend in the world.

Getting her vaccinations, food, and transport has been a struggle and has left me indebted. Now that I leave in a few weeks, I have reluctantly decided to turn to crowdfunding to help me take her on my travels. I can't afford a pet travel consultant, but I'm hoping to order her crate in the next few weeks and rebook my flights with a dog friendly airline... The targeted sum is about what I'm short to cover these.

I really hate the idea of crowdfunding but find that I'm not in a huge position to argue with the friends who have suggested I try it... Anyone willing to pitch in will earn my eternal gratitude, a big hug from me and a big wet kiss from Gandhi!!
