Get me to Wits

My name is Phakiso Masooa. I have been just accepted at the University of the Witwatersrand for the June - July intake, for a BA degree. For me to be registered I need a sum of R9 350. Unfortunately I cannot afford to pay my own registration as my parents do not earn enough money to support me. My mother is unemployed and my father work as a taxi driver.

This is a dream come true for me as I believe me furthering my studies will help break the circle of poverty in my family. I will be the very first person who is studying in a higher institution in my family.

Please help make my dreams a really, help me break the circle of poverty. I promise to pay it forward, as I am very passionate about education and about giving back hence I Co-founded The Mentees Ark - a mentorship and tutoring non profit company which strives in eradicating poverty in the disadvantaged communities by bringing quality education that the private schools have.
