Hey there! My name is Dorin ( or by my nickname : "Brin" ). I'm from Bucharest, Romania and I freshly graduated highschool. My hobbies include music (I LOVE both listening to and playing music; I've played some piano and joked around with an ukulele) , technology and sport (from soccer to handball or even basketball).
I'm going to study Computer Science at Zealand Academy of Technologies and Business in Roskilde, Denmark starting from September this year (2019). Denmark is probably one of my favourite countries in the world: (almost) everyone rides a bike (honestly, if your danish friend has a dog, that dog might ride a bike too); the people there are very (VERY) happy and I think that fits me perfectly aaaand of course, food! Their higher education is also free for European Union students and I absolutely support that. All of that, though, comes at a price: rent is both expensive and hard to find. Fortunately, I did manage to find accommodation BUT neither me or my family can afford it.
That's why I am here: I am raising money to afford rent, food and all that stuff until I get a job (that will be a challenge because it can be challenging to find a job as a non-Danish) but I'm looking forward to the opportunity to face that challenge. I will also need a laptop, new clothes (because the climate changes) and a bike. But those are definitely not my priorities and can wait. I'm aiming for $3000 because that should be enough to sustain me for three months. Anything over the goal is greatly appreciated and will make my studies easier.
I deeply appreciate your help supporting my education and look forward to providing updates on how my studies are going as well as the job search.
