Please help me stay!

Let me first introduce myself! My name is Biserka, I am 33 years old and moved from Australia to Serbia with my Mum

Since moving to Serbia I met and married the love of my life Petar Stevic.

I have been living in Serbia since June 2018 and have been staying on a temporary visa but since getting married I have been preparing to apply for my Serbian citizenship.

It has been a little bit of a challenge to get a full time job in Serbia ( I have tried but many companies are reluctant to employ someone without a working visa.....but I cant get a working visa unless I am offered employment, it's sort of a catch 22) so I have been working online and remote jobs to make ends meet.

I would love to get my Serbian citizenship so I can get a full time job and be able to stay with my mum and husband without worrying about my Visa expiring and the stressful visa approval process.

I have managed to pay and organise as many documents as I can for my citizenship but I am missing some pieces. Here is the breakdown of remaining documents and costs in Euro

• Apostille Australian Birth Certificate at Australian Embassy (€55)
• Photocopy and certify Australian Passport at Australian Embassy (€50)
• Translate Australian Birth Certificate into Serbian Language (€20)
• Request copy of proof of Australian Citizenship (€120)
• Apostille Australian Citizenship Certificate (€55)
• Translate Australian Citizenship Certificate into Serbian Language (€20)
• Application fee for Serbian Citizenship (€180)

TOTAL €500 (Euro)

I hope to have everything ready and submit by mid March this year. I will most likely have to reapply for my visa whilst waiting for my citizenship to approve…which I will have to deal with when the time comes.
