Hi.
My name is Martin, and I am the creator of the social media pages ‘My Microscopic World’.
For more than two years I have been creating videos and images of the microscopic animals and organisms that live all around us. A year ago, I was lucky enough to upgrade my old and cheap microscope to a new and much better Motic BA310E, which improved the quality of my content quite a bit. Around the same time I also invested in a professional microphone to make better sounding narrations for my videos.
However, the next hurdle I need to overcome to make even better content for you guys is the camera. Right now, I am filming and taking pictures with my iPhone mounted on the microscope, which is not ideal and not able to capture the full experience of the microworld as I see it through my microscope.
Therefore, I wish to invest in a real camera to mount on my microscope. At the moment I have my eyes on a camera from Nikons Z-series, which after thorough research should be well suited for this purpose.
To mount the camera on the microscope I also wish to invest in one of the best possible adapters, made with high quality optics and materials for the best quality videos for you.
As you might have guessed, these two items are a bit pricy and way more than I can afford to spend on my own. This is where all of you come into the picture.
I would be forever grateful if you want to help me acquire these upgrades so I can make the high quality videos you deserve! I want to show you the microworld in all its beauty and I hope you can and will help me do that.

hey Martin !Love your work, I used to be a keen microscopist myself. I thought I had sent this donation before , maybe it did not go through so here it is again. I would like to speak to you about using some of your work in an ambient album/video project I am doing as a benefit for mental health. if you search 'coldcut ambient album mental health' you will find it. look forward to hearing from you. Keep doing this amazing work! I recommend you to write letters to microscope companies to support you with a machine:) Anyway you mention their names in your videos, so its a free advertisement for them. Give a try :)))) I wish you success! 💝

To a kindred spirit! I found your YouTube after starting my own little swamp in a jar. You can check it out if you want, it's heyitsswampjar on instagram or @swampjar on twitter. I fully appreciate the curiosity and wonder that comes with seeing these creatures so candidly and the creation of these novel tiny ecosystems. To many more years of life in jars!
