Help Me See Your Beautiful Faces Again

My partner, Gracel Lou Juanite lost her vision partially to both of her eyes due to a complication of Diabetes Type 2 which is Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy. It all started on December of 2018, when she noticed that she sees broken or warped images in her right eye. We went to ophthalmologist and they said that we need to have a surgery to save her right eye and undergo eye injections and laser treatment on her left eye. But we weren't able to go through these treatments because we don't have money to fund the operation and eye procedure (P100,000 more or less for the operation and P10,000 for each eye injection (3 sessions minimum) and P18,000 to P25,000 for the laser treatment).

Months went by and June came. Someone we don't know tried to break in to our home, a drunkard who kicked our door. We went to the police multiple times, he got arrested and we settled. But the trauma it caused her damaged the one and only good eye that she had, which is the left eye. We went to the ophthalmologist again in the hopes of gaining back her vision at least on one eye. We did a series of eye injection but the blood inside her eyes are too thick and she needs to undergo Pars Plana Vitrectomy with Endolaser on September 26, 2019. This operation will cost us P96,500 but with the help of Philhealth and Person With Disability (PWD) discount, it went down to P50,000. Still, a huge money for us. And time is running out. We are advised by the retina specialist to take the surgery as soon as possible because the more the blood is still inside her eyes, the more risk of permanent vision loss.

She is very young and wants to live her life to the fullest. At the age of 26, we are fearing that Diabetes will take both of her vision. She wants to see your faces again, your smiles, your eyes, everything. She is eager to go back to job which she truly love and be on the top again.
