In 2011 I tore my calf muscle at the time I was unaware of what I had done and simply went and took pain killers and lay down I tried to deal with the pain like the stubborn man I am.

I was not on medical aid and stayed on my bed hoping it was just a sprain.

After a few days had passed my leg began to swell until I could no longer bare the pain and went to a government hospital.

Of cause by them the damage was done already but I did not realise it then, I was diagnosed with DVT and to my horror I was now diabetic too something I would not or could not accept.

I spent a month in hospital recovering and being treated.

I was eventually released and went home.

The doctors/surgeon had placed me on a six month bed rest recovery.

The day after I got home a vein in my ankle burst under my skin.

I went the following day back to hospital to see the doctor, I was told not to panic it would fix itself. Hey what did I know?

I went home on coming home my sisters dog had puppies and they ran up to greet me and accidently one of the puppies claw could my leg just in the area where the vein has burst.

It opened a wound. Due to pain I immediately went to go and lay down not thinking to clean the wound.

I understand why they say pain makes you do stupid things.

I was on warfrin at the time and still am.

Well the wound became infected I went to the Government hospital the doctor looked at it and said don’t worry it will heal itself just drink lots of water and eat fresh fruit and veggies.

No anti biotic was given.

Well for two years I walked with blood and pus running out of the wound it even at one stage smelt like rotten meat.

Then one day the surgeon saw me and asked what was wrong with my leg when I told him he told me to stop the warfrin and the wound would heal and close.

I did and it did, during this time I could not work.

Being that my skills lay in the IT field technology waits for no one.

I fell behind in my skill set and I discovered I had another problem.

I could not be on my feet all day my legs could no longer cope apart from that

I was falling asleep halfway in the day it was like i was drunk all day, and I don’t drink.

It happens that when you go to government hospitals you don’t see the same doctor always.

I eventually complained to the one doctor i was seeing about the issue and he explained i was on eight blood pressure tablets a day and quickly corrected the issue i asked him how it happened and he said each doctor i saw just added to the script.

Well after all the craziness it now 2016 and I’m turning 45.

My life had become a daily struggle with no income.

My parents are in their 70's.

So you probably wandering why I am asking for your help

I need to find a sustainable job with a good income so I can get back on my feet.

But whatever job I get I can’t be on my feet all day.

So I need to go back on courses to retrain in my skill set or start my own business.

Also in the process of everything I don’t have a vehicle anymore.

As I am sure you realise no income no car payments.

Being type 2 diabetic i am told it can be reversed by exercising and correct diet but again no income.

So I am asking no I am begging for your help.

Help me by donating and I believe with your generosity you will be blessed in return.

Hoping to buy one with money raised
