Please help a 2 year old boy save his rescue cat from impending death.

Just a month after my friend's mum lost her long life partner to a heart attack, in her arms, a stray cat showed up in their backyard. Perfect timing. He was seeking help, meowing. We both love animals and we both share the same vision of saving as many as we can. It was extremely hard for her to just leave his meows unanswered.

She started helping the cat. Her husband and her took him to the vet and he had parasites eating him from the inside. He was underweight and boney. They took him to the vet, gave him medication and he reacted badly considering the parasites had been in him a long time. He had serious brain damage and the vet said it was unlikely he would survive.

But a miracle happened and he survived. She nursed him back to health. For a month she tended to him, fed him and gave him lots of love and attention. At the very beginning the cat took a liking to her toddler. Her toddler got attached to him too.

Her son named him Bubbles and he is really loving. He loves cuddles and licks people's hands and face almost like a dog.

However, now they need another miracle because he is sick again. It looks like the brain damage caused something to slowly happen to his body ie. his kidneys. The vet is not sure because he has to open him up first to know what is happening. He doesn't urinate and becasue of that urine is accumulating in his belly. He looks like he swallowed a watermelon.

They have already been to the vet. The vet let out the urine and gave injections every day for a week to encourage urination. After this treatment the urine built up again. The vet suggested putting him down but after hearing that the cat purrs and isn't lethargic, eats, walks and is not depressed he said to keep him alive until they see signs of death.

Her husband and her almost drained their account treating the cat trying to save him. To no success. They just don't have that amount at this time for the operation.

He can get an operation even though he may die on the operating table. Either way he will die - by possible suffocation or being put down. If he is going to die either way they would at least like to try and give him a fighting chance. He surprised them with one miracle, maybe Bubbles is a miracle cat and can do it again with your help.

Any donation would be appreciated even if it is just 1 or 2 Euros.
