Hi, My name is Glenda and I am the mother of Andy Matthew. 11 years ago when Andy Matthew was 3 I left my country the Philippines so I can find a way to finance my son Andy Matthew's 5 intestinal operations. I need what I have to do to save his life. He was born with hirschsprung. After a year of being here in Britain my marriage broke up so I decided to stay here so I can finance my son. Years later because of visa problems I didn't have the chance to go back home to see him. Now that everything is ok I want him to come over to visit me and he also can't wait for that. Since last year he keep asking if I have saved enough money for him to apply for the visa but because I can't work full time for childcare reasons (I have a 6 years old here as well whom he hasn't seen in person). I struggled to save money because of rent, bills and food. 11 years is way too long for a mother and son to be reunited again.
I am raising money for the application of his visa, plane ticket and other miscellaneous expenses that will occur along the way towards his journey here in the UK. I want him to come over if possible this summer so he can spend more time with his brother here.
This would really mean so much for me because I am longing everyday to see him again and him too! We always cry over the phone because we both want that to happen.
I will be very grateful to all of you who have such a big heart to help other people in need. I wouldn't be here if I can do this on my own. Thank you for your help.
