Greetings everyone. I am Nizibone Lubisi and I have been accepted to further my studies at the University of Free State and complete my BSc Honours in Geohydrology. However, as a first time student at UFS one is required to pay a registration fee of R14080.00. My undergraduate degree was funded by NSFAS, and according to NSFAS rules they do not fund a postgraduate degree. I have applied for multiple bursaries but most of them will only respond by the end of April. The UFS postgrad registration is set to close this Friday the 5th of March but it has been said that it would be extended by a week if most students have not yet registered. I would like your assistance as my parents have no sort of employment nor income. I have tried student loans of which they require someone who has employment and an actual income so they can deduct money from that person but I have no one who can help me as my father does piece jobs as a self employed mechanic. I know this is too much to ask for, but I ask for any sort of donation. I am pleading with you guys as completing my degree and becoming a qualified geohydrologist is essential to me because coming from a rural areas, one is faced with more problems than solutions I have always wanted to bring solutions to the hydrological problems that the rural community face as I feel they are left behind. Let me not be left in education so that our South Africa can be a country of problem solvers. Attached below is the quotation from the university.
