US$173.00raised of $7,500.00 goal goal
Dear friends and anyone who cares about hockey!
My name is Ferhat Tozunler, and I’m responsible for the development of ice hockey in Macedonia. I am managing recruitment projects, working on domestic development and education programs. My main priority is to make sure that hockey is easily accessible to children here. It is a challenging mission, but it is worth the effort.
Some time ago we received a generous donation of 60 sets of ice hockey gear and sticks for the kids of Macedonia. It was intended to help develop sport for the kids who are already in hockey, and also attract many more kids who want to but cannot join hockey because their parents cannot afford to buy any equipment.
Unfortunately, the donation was detained by the customs authorities due to the wrong procedure of invoicing. The recovery of the equipment can be made possible only by paying a considerable tax and custom service fees which is around 7500 dollars. After seeking help from a huge number of institutions (government or non-government) and being rejected by every one of them, I have decided to take the matter in own hands.
What I am asking for is help me raise enough money to prevent it from a possible auction and recover it from the customs. By doing that it will be possible to achieve the most important goal: to supply the kids with the equipment so that they can finally play hockey. It is just that I truly care about it.
I know that even the smallest contribution will add up to the goal, and I will be incredibly happy if you find a way to make it.
P.S. Any official documents regarding the situation with the customs (such as invoices, notifications, and other papers) will be provided on request.
P.P.S. I will also certainly keep you constantly updated on how every bit of this story develops.
P.P.P.S. I appreciate if donors from Turkey & Russia contact me via [email protected] since they are not able to pay by their credit cards through Paypal. The amount which is raised off-line will be added and shown here, on the campaign page.
Thank you all in advance for your contribution and support.
