Taal Volcano Disaster

Her Story: This campaign is for my friend who lives in Laurel, a barangay which is so near to the Taal Volcano. A humble community, not rich in money but they're rich in love and strength. It was a beautiful place but now all you could see is a grayish desert.

She lost their humble home after it collapsed because of the earthquake caused by the Eruption of Taal Volcano and its heavy ash fall. The humble home that her mother and father built with hard work is now gone and devastated.

They no longer have a source of income after their plants and goats died because of the ashfall of the Taal Volcano.

January 12, 2020: The Taal Volcano suddenly started erupting, everyone around could feel the ground started shaking. It frighten her and her family but she's more worried about her parents. (Her parents' age are around 60 years old.) They evacuate immediately after they heard the sudden announcement about the Taal Volcano, they all evacuate to the nearest safe City but except her Father, he decided to look after the house but he promised to stay in the nearest safe evacuation area near their house

January 13, 2020: My friend, her mother and her sister are now safe in Biga, Sto. Tomas City Batangas, but they can't contact their father.

January 13, 2020, around 5 PM: Their father contacted them. He's safe. Everyone is glad about it. But their father still have a bad news for the whole family. The house collapsed and their stuffs are all broken, it saddened everyone.

A simple Filipino Family can't afford to rebuild it, plus the fact that their source of income is now gone. They need to reserve their little savings for food and other expenses.

They'll appreciate a small amount of help with all their heart.
