₱3,850.00raised of ₱200,000.00 goal goal
Hello! my name is Francine Tuazon and at the current date i am making this—July 21, 2020—i am a 16 year old non-binary lesbian. in 2 years, i hope to raise enough money to get a top surgery here in the Philippines.
When puberty hit me growing, i was never comfortable with my chest and i refused to wear bras because i was uncomfortable in them for the most part. i only wore bandeaus or went for no bra at all because i hated acknowledging that my breasts were there. i never truly felt like myself because my chest stands in the way of me and who i want to be. My dream is to have a top surgery as soon as i turn 18, and this surgery would mean the absolute world to me because my breasts are a reminder of the person i hated the most growing up; me, who was never comfortable in her skin and trying to fit in with gender norms. i feel as though without my breasts, i can be free from these chains and truly be the person i always wanted to be confidently and proudly. so please, i ask you, help my cause so that when i turn 18 i can be rid from these chains that bind me to the pain i’ve experienced.
As an LGBT youth in the Philippines, homophobia is a common thing for me especially in my own household. my family would not help me even if it killed them, for they are openly homophobic and force heterosexuality on me. i wish to be the freest me that is possible, and only through everyone helping me can i ever dream to achieve that.
