Help me reach my dream

The photo is me when I was little haha. I can't find my photo with a plane when I was young. The paper behind my photo is my draft of the expenses on becoming a pilot.

Hi everyone! I hope that all of you are all safe amidst this pandemic we are all going through. May I please have a few minutes of your time to read my campaign to support my education to help me reach my goal of becoming an airline pilot in the near future.

I am Sean Carlos Sia, a 19 year old aspiring pilot who dreamed to work in the skies and to travel the world through the skies, bringing my loved ones along with me. Ever since I was a little boy, I have dreamed of being a pilot someday. I loved airplanes! When I was young, I really loved collecting airplane models and played with them day and night, especially when my father brought me home a new airplane model from his company. Ever since, I loved airplanes.

I am really aspiring on become a pilot. I have been playing flight simulators for years now and the thrill and happiness it gives me makes me truly happy and excited. Having the chance to cross the Atlantic in an airbus a320, crossing the skies in a Boeing 737-800, bush tripping on a Cessna 172, or just enjoying the view of my country the Philippines gave me this experience and I know that I am destined to become a pilot. I have spent countless of hours flying and studying planes on how they work, and how could I fly one. I have also been really a fan of airplanes even on documentaries and short videos online.

Being a pilot remained as one of my main goal, and I am willing to do everything possible in order to make this dream happen.

The reason why I am asking people online to help me achieve this dream is because of the costly expenses I will be through on working this dream happen. In the Philippines, flight school is extremely costly and people consider this dream impractical because of the high cost on becoming one.

Here in our country, the expense of becoming a pilot in the Philippines costs 3,000,000 Pesos or roughly 63,000 USD and may even peak up to 5,000,000 Pesos, roughly 100,000 USD.

It is really heartbreaking for me and my dad. He have always wanted for me to be a pilot, and he always dreamed seeing me on a pilot's uniform. It is heartbreaking for me that I know he is not capable of supporting me of achieving this dream. I feel down and saddened to the fact that my dream of becoming a pilot is fading away slowly.

I am currently a graduating senior in high school and next school year I will become a college freshman. In a few months, I am still unsure on how I would be able to enroll and study in a college university that provides aviation courses and training. Only a few months left to make my dreams come true.

I believe in the goodness of people. Any amount donated to me will be highly appreciated by myself, and I will always cherish the kindness and good deed people are willing to help for me.
