Help me Re-Unite with the Love of my Life In Tampa, FL

Hello, 

My name is Leo and I am in need of Angels to help me move across the country from California to Florida. My domestic partner of almost 5 years who has a medical condition has no choice but to relocate with his parents as they have stated will be by his side until their death which I applaude. I thank god for partnering me with this very special person on this earth as he has brought me the greatest happiness any person could ever ask for. His parents are soon to retire and they will no longer make the income to help him pay for medical expenses.  His whole income is from SSi and he has always had a hard time obtaining employment.  In the past 5 years of being with him, he has taught me the virtue of patience and I have taught him how to start becoming self dependent and the signs of being taken advantage of.

It still breaks my heart when he shares with me how people in his past took advantage of him due to his disability and receiving SSi every month.  I have been unemployed for the last 12 months after my employer of almost 5 years downsized and permanently closed the location. I helped him heavily with some of his medical and living expenses even though we did not live together.  After my lay off from work, I sacrified many job opportunities by placing the needs of others in front of my own.  I also have a brother with extreme cerebal palsy and made the decision to be his primary caregiver so my mother would not loose her job of almost 20 years as she is on the verge of retirement.  Likewise, my single mother sister with 3 wonderful nephews had her husband incarcerated and once again, so she would not loose her employment I committed to babysitting the children.

In all honesty, I am an able bodied individual and am not just sitting idle. I am taking advantage of all the legal avenues of raising funds from collecting and selling recycleables to  being a seller on ebay.  I have never pleaded or ever thought about asking for assistance from Angels out in the world.  Yes with the will I have I will get to my goal on my own but it will take much longer.  I ask for your assistance so I may reach my goal quickly and help lessen the burden on my domestic partners parents and also get an apartment of our own in Tampa. I have enabled overfunding and every dollar over my goal will be used to fund another cause on this site.
