Hello, my name is Jamaica and I'm trying to raise money on behalf of my mother Susan who is 57 years old now. We cannot afford all the work and needs she will require for her surgery. My father was laid off work. I am the main provider of my family now and try to support them with whatever I make. I only make $500-$600 every two weeks and my whole check (If not half) goes to rent and bills. When we found out about her dental issue, we didn't know how we could ever afford what she needs to have done. She is trying to find work and now it may be a problem if she doesn't have teeth. Also, the pain from her teeth could make it incredibly uncomfortable to work.
I did some looking into funding sites hoping to at least make half of what we need. I alone can't do it so I'm asking for help. I'm hoping to be able to raise the money for my mother as soon as possible.
My mother was diagnosed with periodontal disease. If you don't know what that is, it is a severe case of gingivitis. A gum disease that causes bone and gum loss. She needs to have all of her teeth removed now. The longer she has her teeth in, the more it will continue to eat at her gums and bone. This will eat away at her jaw bone as it's connected and can just continue to eat away at her skull.
- The work she needs done:
- Removal of her teeth ($29,850)
- Stem cell implant ($ Unknown at this time)
- Tooth Implant ($ Unknown at this time)
- Filling in lower front ($280)
And if we can get dentures for her to use until her implants it will be around $5100 but I'm not sure on the exact price because she would have to get them specially made due to the structure of her mouth and how narrow it is.
