Help me raise a deposit after an emotionally/financially abusive relationship

In February 2018 I made the best decision I have ever made and left a controlling, emotionally abusive relationship and moved out of the flat we shared. After 3 years of gaslighted into doubting my own sanity, I am finally regaining a sense of stability in my life. However, as all of the utility bills continued to come out of my bank account, my ex has refused to pay for 2 month's worth of his usage leaving me almost £300 worse off when I am trying to get back on my feet and scrape together a deposit for a new home. I feel as he no longer holds emotional control over me, this is his last attempt at controlling me through my finances - all of my (very civil) emails are being ignored and I don't think I will ever see the money again. I am desperate to put this whole this whole thing behind me and move on with my life but when I am paying £400 p/m in train tickets to commute from my parents' house to work in Bristol each day, it is hard to get myself in the financial position to be independent again. Ideally this money would come from him but I don't have the funds or emotional energy to take him to small claims court, so please help me raise £300 to reimburse it so I can put it towards a deposit on a flat in Bristol. I appreciate any and all donations as this really is a last resort - I don't think it's the responsibility of kind strangers to bail him/me out. Your generosity would enable me to cease all communication with him and make a fresh start.
