Help us raise $30,000 for (VSD repair) heart surgery for our 3 year old boy

Laurence, was born on 10th August, 2015 with a heart defect( Ventricular- Septal defect) , which is basically a hole in the wall that separates the heart's lower chambers and allows blood to pass from the left to the right side of the heart. The oxygen-rich blood then gets pumped back to the lungs instead of out to the body, causing the heart to work harder. Even though, the attending pediatrician at birth heard the murmur(extra abnormal heart sound), we thought the baby would be fine because he suffered anemia at birth. However at 4 months of age he started developing severe symptoms and since then he has been in and out of hospital almost on a weekly basis. The Ugandan cardiologists hoped that this hole would close on its own naturally in the first 2 years of his life but this has unfortunately not happened and hence there is need to repair this defect. He has suffered a couple of life threatening situations, including severe arrhythmia(irregular heart beats) and eventually cardiac arrests and he has on several occasions been put on life support.

Laurence is born to me and Manuela. We thank God we have been able to meet his bills for the last 3 years with constant hospitalization. However, we have gone way and above our earnings in pursuit for a remedy.

We hereby plea for any support from any good people out there to help us reach our fundraising amount goal to have this boy's condition remedied and to guarantee a good future for him. We have targeted to take him to India before this year's end.
