Campaign Story
Everyone expects Swiss citizens to be rich, drink in golden goblets and harvest ingots from trees, but that's certainly not my case. Because of Crohn's disease, I had to stop working at age forty, and I am to rely on a minimum vital wage that I receive from public social services.
Luckily, after I had to stop working, my mother welcomed me and my child in her house. I couldn't afford to pay my flat anymore since my salary dropped, so I was happy to live with her, in our small family house.
Unfortunately, my mother passed away this year, leaving me with a century old house that I have to maintain by myself. Now, its fundations, almost entirely made out of wood, are threatening to collapse, and I can't pay for the restoration, nor can I wait that the floors crack open.
Its the only place I have left, and I can't afford the whole amount needed to fix this mess, despite borrowing from friends and using what I have left on my bank account.
Short of ideas and money, I am now turning to any help I can get for me and my son.
Any amount of help is more than welcome, and I thank you for reading this
