Help Me Present My Research

[EDIT/UPDATE]: I was just informed that the organiser can't give me 100% confirmation whether or not I will get a room at the university's college. So it's basically in a limbo! This means, I have to take into account possible costs for accommodation. Currently, the cheapest place I can find costs RM800 for a today of 7 days 6 nights and it's the only all-female hostel in Amsterdam which I think is comfortable than mixed hostels. I may have to add this extra accommodation costs to the fundraising goal, as I didn't expect to have to cover it.

I'm a young aspiring researcher and I'm currently in my final year at a public university in Malaysia. My degree is in Political Science. I started doing research papers in 2021 (one published and one in-process for publication) . In March 2022, I sent an abstract for a potential research and the abstract for my research paper on Malaysian youth politics has been chosen for a full paper and to be presented at a conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands. My research is about the new type of multicultural politics among Malaysian youths.

The conference is known as the PCINU Belanda 3rd Biennial Confrence: Reimagining Religion and Values in Times of Social Crisis. It is organized by Nahdlatul Ulama Belanda and Vrije University, Amsterdam. This is such a great opportunity for me to build more of my research experience and meet great people in various academic fields. I have been working tirelessly on-ground with support from my scholarship money to produce the research and I am excited to present it!

However, I come from a B40 (low income) family and I cannot afford the flight tickets and costs of living (food, emergency money etc.) with my father's current income. My mother is a special needs person and cannot work so we are a single income family. My scholarship is only enough for my studies, and I cannot cover extra costs. That's where you come in!

I set my target for only RM4,500 (983 EURO or 1,064 US DOLLARS) which will pay for the cheapest available flight to Amsterdam at RM2,300++ (estimated 513 EURO++) and provide me RM2,000 (equivalent to 437 EURO) for my food costs, transportation on ground and emergency money. My accommodation is provided by the organiser so it is a matter of getting there!

I would greatly appreciate any help to make me realise my dream of presenting my research to the world. This is my passion and my dream. Please know that every donation from you takes me one step closer to my dreams! I promise to update everything from the flight tickets to my trip there so you can see how much you have helped me!
