Rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.  Currently, I am member of Penn State's Rugby team.  We play in Division-I and have won 7 National Championships to date, including one in 2012!

Every spring break, we as a team travel to Europe to learn more about Rugby and to play some European teams.

 

This year we have decided to travel to Southern France.  The cost for the trip per person is well over $3,000, however Penn State covers a significant portion.  The out-of-pocket cost per person is $1250 which includes flight, hotel, some meals, transportation, and certain events.  As a starving college student, I unfortunately cannot cover my cost for the trip.  However, I am doing everything in my power to raise the funds necessary to cover it.  This is where I need your help!! 
Every single penny received will go towards the cost of this trip!!!  
As a promise to all of you, as soon as I graduate and have a job as an engineer, I will sponsor any of you and your children in your fundraising efforts, including but not limited to girl scout cookies, boy scout popcorn, school fundraisers, marathons, triathlons, 5K's, walks, jump rope competitions, eating contests, etc....
Also the following prizes will be given those who donate on my site!!
If you donate $50:  You will receive an autographed photo of your choice (you never know...lots people from Penn State have made it to the Olympics and on the US Women's Rugby Team)
If you donate $100:  You will receive 2 autographed photos of your choice 
If you donate $500:  You will receive 2 autographed photos and an autograph rugby ball.  You will also receive one of the following:  a Penn State t-shirt, a Penn State hat, or a Penn State car magnet
If you donate $1000:  You will receive all of the above, PLUS copies of all photos taken in France, and I will do one task for you...WHATEVER you want within reason. 
*Customizable prize packages can be arranged if you would rather receive something else for your generous donation!! *
I am basically willing to do whatever it takes at this point.  If you'd rather receive a Penn State T-shirt for donating $100 instead of two autographed pictures that can certainly be arranged.  Or you can make up your own task for me to complete...I will write you a song, I will do a funny dance in the middle of the street and post it on youtube, I will mail you freshly baked cookies, I will tackle 20 people just for you, etc, etc...WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!
Thank you all for your support of every crazy activity and adventure I have done thus far.  Even if I don't end up making it to South France this spring break, I know that it wasn't because of a lack of support and love! :)

Wow!! I can't believe I just received my first donation!! It feels like my dream has really come alive at this point.  Thank you Aunt Gail for being my first supporter!! :)
