Divorced after 24 years, I needed to make a decision on where my life was going. In 2009 I graduated from culinary school in the top 4% of my class. I was excited I got a job with the Marriott in Atlanta Georgia. Three months into my job, I got a call from my sister, Pam in Las Vegas that she had ovarian cancer. Pam was going into surgery and was asking if I could come out and help with her recovery for the next months to follow.
I relocated to be closer to my sister Pam. I am happy to say Pam is in full remission. I went back to work and injured my hand to the point I needed surgery. Once going thru the operation and physical therapy, my hand still wasn't strong enough to lift heavy commerical kitchen equipment anymore. That was back in 2010. I have had to defer my school loans going on 5 years now. I could only work part-time and now live with my son. He is great, but I would like to contribute more to the household if I could.
I am 61 years old and at the point I need some help. Whatever you can donate will be trully appreciated.
Thank you,
Diane Pendley
