Hero matron help me help the ignored..

In 2005 i pulled 8 developmentally handicapped children off my burning bus in staten island. Now I am a certified P.C.A. and I am pursuing my psychology degree to help the elderly and youth in my state . These are the forgotten groups in psychology . I have seen in my work experience how they are dismissed by the psychology world as senile or bad. Too many children and elderly are misdiagnosed due to a lack of empathy. I have spent my career to Date taking care of the special needs,handicapped,and elderly as a caretaker. I now have the oppirtunity to take care of their mental needs that are in my opinion widely ignored or belittled. College is getting very expensive and I may not be able to continue if I can't catch up on my student loans. Please help me to be able to help those ignored by the psychology world.
