Campaign Story
Hey, I'm Gena, I'm 31 and have 3 amazing children. I'm in the process of changing jobs, and was expecting a lump sum payout at the end of this month from my current employer. This was going to get me on track with my rent arrears, and also settle a couple of medical bills.
I haven't received that lump sum payout, and I'm not going to. Without going into too much detail, my company says I owed them, and so they used this money due to me to offset my "debt". I didn't owe them; I took leave earlier this year and requested that it be unpaid. They chose to pay me in full, and now I'm suffering because of their decision.
If you can spare some change, my kids and I would be really appreciative.
