I have recently been accepted into the BA dance programme at the London Contemporary Dance School located in The Place, London. The Undergraduate degree constitutes three years of intensive dance development and training by renowned teachers and choreographers to prepare dancers for a career in the industry. It is one of the top conservatoires for contemporary dance in England and a huge opportunity for me that I don't want to miss out on due to lack of funds. It is my dream to become a professional dancer and I hope with your help I can make this dream a reality.
As an Overseas student from South Africa, the course fees are more expensive which, alongside the current exchange rate, makes it very difficult for my family to afford sending me to England. I am currently working three part time jobs but it will unfortunately not be enough to support me for long once I move there.
I have therefore created this funding campaign to reach as many people as possible who would be willing to assist in any way they can, whether that be sharing this or donating to the campaign. Every contribution means the world to me and I would be extremely grateful for any donation amount no matter how small.

I have been dancing for 14 years and have achieved up to Advanced 1 level in my Cecchetti ballet examinations. I have also trained in Modern, Hip-Hop and contemporary dance styles under various teachers and choreographers. I have been a member of the KZN Dance Academy for the past five years and have performed in multiple dance competitions where I have achieved gold medals for my solo performances. I was also involved in a project called "UNITY' to bring greater attention to the South African art industry, which involved a couple of collaborative screen dances linking different art disciplines. I studied dance as a Matric level subject and was awarded Senior Full Colours alongside The Nichola Schorn Dance Performance Trophy, Dance Trophy overall for Dance, Best Senior Dancer of the Year, Senior Choreographic award and the Kemp Arts Trophy.
