Help me pay back my dept to a good man who helped me in the past.

It was before about 10 years when i was trying to have a loan from a bank so i can built my household, but because i was not in my country i had noone to guarantee for me. Thank god, the owner of the house i was renting, volunteered to help me and became my loan guarantor.

The bank gave the green light to my loan and guess what?... the next day i got fired from my job, (a big newspaper i was working as a marketing advisor) because of crisis (i think it was 2008).

I already was fighting with depression for the past years because of a break up i had with my girlfriend but from that point and after my life got messed up. I was struggling with depression for 10 years after that time...unable to work and create any wealth in my life till now.

So...i still have to pay him back. I live in Greece and we are stuggling with unemployment because of the lock downs. I feel really bad that i can not give the money back. This man trusted me and i failed him. I dont want him to feel that he helped a person and he got betrayed. I would really like to give him his money back.
