First off, my "debts" started when I gave birth via CSECTION at a private hospital last August 2019.

We haven't foreseen the situation where I have to be open to get the baby out as she was losing her water inside. That is why, we haven't prepared that much of a money.

I know it is my fault that I didn't went to a public hospital, but it was during this time that the public hospital in Iligan City had a notorious image of less safety in delivery and rude staffs so I opt for a private hospital with the hope of delivering my baby safely and comfortably.

But this early motherhood instinct turned into an unprecedented nightmare.

In my stay in the private maternity hospital, our bill took nearly 90,000. We saved a few 25,000 pesos from health insurance and discount. But the rest, I have to cry every time for almost 2 weeks because we can't be discharged from hospital because of our huge balance, which grew everyday as we stay there.

So, story short, God is indeed good, as we have convinced the hospital to leave with at least 35% of the remaining balance. But, we have searched every relatives and friends for help and could only afford the 50%. So for the rest, we have to lend money somewhere else.

In the end, we have almost 30,000 pesos in debt with skyrocketing interest because we don't have any choices left.

So year 2019, we were able to slowly paid off our debts from friends and relatives but still have to come up money to pay off our balance from the hospital to get the birth certificate of my daughter.

Long story short, we have a growing debt due lending money from several companies and loan apps we could find just to get by our responsibilities.

I know this fundraising seemed ridiculous but in my hopes of giving my family a better life, I guess life could not get better if we have too much of a baggage to carry. This is my baggage.

I can't seem to move on with life because even if I have a job, it is still not enough.

Coming from a poor family is very difficult. Having problems and too much debt is another.

I want to get on with my life, with family's life, not worrying about tomorrow's loan or debt that we have to pay. Help me overcome endless debts. Please.

A peso is worth a thousand smiles and thanks. Thank you and God bless.
