Help me go meet the love of my life

Hello there!

Thanks for giving a try to read my story and my personal cause of raising this money.

I never thought I would be here, on a platform like this asking people to get empathy for my cause, but here am I, and why not to ask for help and let myself to be supported.

This is my story.

We met online. A little bit cliché? I know, I know. We started out being really good friends, then the friendship turned into something more and we ended up opening our hearts completely. Neither of us has ever felt something like this. It is something really amazing to love someone so much despite not having seen each other (in person) or having had any physical contact. It's very exciting, and, above all, pure. We have an incredible connection. The big problem is that I live in Peru and he lives 9,380 km from me, in Spain. We talk every day, make video calls, and sleep during phone calls. We have been together for 5 years now.

I currently live in an abusive home with my parents. I am a student (last year) and also financially dependent on them. I am trying to become independent from them, but it is not that easy. I had to stop working, because the situation in my country is pretty complicated at the moment, due to the health (and now political) crisis.

I'd really like go visit him next year, but the plane ticket costs around 950 USD. I want to raise part of the money I need to pay for the plane ticket. I'm saving up all I can for the other travel expenses (basically, food)
