My mother absolutely admires and loves watching Rafael Nadal play tennis. She loves his playing style, his determination and never say die attitude in all his matches and his giving and humble nature as a person.
It has always been a dream of make to be able to send her to one of his tennis matches, but I don’t earn a lot of money and saving has been a slow going race. When I heard that Rafael Nadal would be in Cape Town for the Match in Africa with Rodger Federer I though this is my one chance to see her dream come true of seeing her idol play live. It would also be her very first live tennis match. It’s taking place in our same country (though different province) and this might be the closest chance I can get to doing this.
We Live in Johannesburg and I was only able to afford two of the cheapest tickets for the match that takes place on the 7th of February 2020. This means I somehow need enough money to get plane tickets and accommodation to stay in Cape Town for at least 1 night to be able to see the match and experience.
Rodger Federer said it best with this quote: “This Match in Africa is a dream comes true,” said Federer. “I will play in my mother’s home country against my toughest rival and friend Rafa Nadal.”
My mother is my best friend and it would mean the world to me if I could make her dream come true. Please help in any way you can. I, and my mother would greatly appreciate it.
