Ever since I was young, I was always fascinated by visual FX in movies. I always wanted to know how they are done. It was 2011 and I was 22 back then when I had my first PC. It was a second hand one but it did help me become familiar with the tools and what's needed to become a VFX artist. I also noticed that VFX in Philippines are not up to par with Hollywood and I made as an inspiration to move and continue to learn even though it's hard and time consuming.
After 2 years of trying to get myself familiar with everything, my PC's motherboard went dead and I have to scrap the rest of the parts as they were outdated. I do have a job I can't afford to take some of it to build a PC that has enough processing power to handle what I do.
This year, I managed to ask a friend to let me borrow his PC to continue do what I love to do but trying to learn 3D and VFX demands a huge amount of time. I do have a lot of time after work but I too shy enough to stay and use my friend's PC for hours.
I really wanted to pursue this dream but it's quite impossible to do it with my current situation. I don't really beg or ask for help but this is the only option I have.
Any help is greatly appreciated. :)
