Who Am I?

Hey there, if you are reading this, thank you for taking the time to hear a bit about my story. My name is Quincy Megas and I'm a musician and social influencer from Johannesburg, South Africa. I make use of Instagram to connect and engage with a large base of people who enjoy what I do. I average 10k unique impressions weekly on basically no budget. [My Instagram Profile]

My Goal

I am looking to raise a minimum of $600 to buy a drone camera which would help me to expand my video making capabilities in order to reach more people and make even better content for my audience.

A bit of background

I have been a creative for as long as I can remember and more recently, I started to leverage Instagram to help me share my work and connect with people. When I stared posting in 2016 [My First Interview] I had about 8k people, mostly from my city, who heard about me mostly through word of mouth. I have since grown to an audience of around 17k which consists of people from all over the world. This has all happened organically through me sharing my craft and engaging with others.

How the money will be used

The money will be used to purchase a camera drone as well as cover any shipping costs. I am going for this type of camera in particular because of the stunning aerial shots I would be able to achieve. This will allow me to record good quality video even on a small budget which would be great, particularly when recording videos for my own original music.

To reach my goal of $600 I know that every dollar counts so I would appreciate it if you can give whatever you can spare. At the end of my campaign I will be thanking my biggest donors in personalized videos (hopefully shot on a drone with great image stabilization) where I will rap about them as well as do freestyle video requestsJ
