Help me level up

Hi, my name is Leonardo Martinez, I am 19 years old and I live in the State of Mexico. During my life, I have dedicated to various sports and artistic activities. But I’ve developed a special love for art in almost all its expressions. Theater, singing, but mostly, painting and drawing. When I was still a child, I discovered my passion for animation. I used to watch many cartoons, I was lucky to see some animation jewels, and to witness its golden age. Also, at that time, I received my very first GameBoy, so I fell in love with video games such as some RPGs or platformers.And I dreamed to do my own. My mind sparkled and I wanted to share what I imagined in the same way as I saw on TV and my console.That's why I want to study digital animation. However, until now, I have not been able to enter to university.

Here in Mexico, we have very good public universities, but none of them have an animation program. In spite of that, I have tried to enter similar programs in these schools, but the demand is so high that, after trying for 2 years, I haven’t gotten a place. There are also good private animation schools, but the programs are not cheap at all. When I graduated from high school, my family began to go through economic problems that continue to this day.

We are a family of four and my mom became our only pillar of sustenance. To support my family and my studies,I began to work. I started as a telephone executive, but this income was not going to be enough. For that reason I decided to start, at the same time, my own business. Soon we will launch, with a partner, a print on demand business, Spicy Strix, where we create our own designs based on themes such as nature, culture, science and equality. However, it will be a long time until I can get enough money to pay for my studies. And to achieve my goals, both in my life in general and in my business, I need more knowledge. That's why I need your support. I have to admit that I can not do everything by myself, but I know there are good people out there. With your help, I can finish my studies.

As I develop my drawing and design abilities, I can apply them to my business and make it grow. Later on, I could dedicate myself to what I dreamed since I was a kid: make my own animations and program videogames and thus fulfill my goals like getting to work with pixar * or even create a Pokemon. I want to study and grow so I can express my ideas to the world, so I can leave my mark.
