Help Me Buy The Tools I Need For Making Video Updates

Hello my name is Edwin, i am the guy behind true manila. Together with my neighbors and friends, we are operating a small community project. The aim is to deliver the help that my friends all over the world are sending to the community. Most of the help goes to the street kids, the poor kids, the abandoned kids in different communities. We started only helping a few kids in the community. Then after 15 years, we managed to help anyone that we can afford to help. From feeding street kids everyday, to sending them to school, paying for their school needs and food allowance, to building houses destroyed by fire, helping sick people and poor families.

True Manila is free. We are helping by accepting the help sent by sponsors who are seeing my post daily and weekly updates. We are bridging the gap between the people to help and the people who can help them. We are sharing all the activities thru posting videos on our page so the sponsors can see the people who received their help.

But i hope that this platform can help me find a solution to one main problem that i am facing right now. Last 2 months, the laptop that i was using to edit the video footage i am making when feeding kids and bringing the help sent by the sponsors to the benefactor was broken. The lcd was broken and the board of the laptop needs to be replace as well, the technician told me that instead of repairing it, might as well buy a slightly used one so i can make sure that the laptop can still perform longer and do the job i needed to do.

I have to edit the videos cause when i am making videos, it is too long and the words we are using to speak with the kids is not in english, i must put subtitle on every video to upload and share and shorten the video to be able to upload it faster. Having a laptop is really what i need for this purpose. But since my laptop is broken, i decided to just sell it instead of repairing it and then keep the money until i have enough saved to buy a used one. All the external hard drive i am using was formatted for MAC, that's why i cannot use any windows pc to edit more videos i already took for more than 4 months of regular feeding in the community.

Then a week after my laptop broke down, then the camera phone that i am using fell to the ground and broke the LCD. I also need to replace it. And then the worst case was after trying to use a borrowed different laptop to open my external hard drive to continue editing of the video footage, the external hard drive all of a sudden was corrupted after using different laptop repeatedly. Now i have three main problems to solve in order to continue posting video updates for true manila page. This is to keep track of the activities and then make sure that the sponsors and future sponsors knows what help is needed in the community when they see the videos i am posting every 2 days. I am posting video updates every 24 hours or every 2 days to make sure that my updates will not be flooded on my wall. From the updates, people can get to know the people that we are helping and what type of help we shared from the help that the sponsors sent.

I need help to be able to get a replacement of my personal laptop that was broken. To replace also the camera phone that i am only using to make videos. I am currently using a go pro that my friend gave to me from, i always use a mobile phone cause it is easier to make a video and take photos at the same time plus post it using the same phone. To repair my external hard drive so i can recover all the videos on it and then start posting them once i managed to retrieve all the files.

I hope you can help me raise a little fund so i can get back this tools that i need to continue posting updates on true manila community project. Without these tools, i won't be able to open anymore all the other external hard drives that is waiting for me to open. unfortunately my friend sold his mac book, the same mac book that i was borrowing from him to edit videos. So for the past 10 days or more, i wasn't able to post any updates anymore.

This is what i own when i was operating true manila, the macbook was donated by my friend from Isle of Man last 2015, it was a 2012 Model Macbook before it breaks down. The iPhone was given to me by my friend from Australia 2 years ago, and i upgraded it and after more than 2 years of using it and dropped it several times, it did not survive the last accidental drop. Fix my external hard drive to retrieve my files and buy two new external hard drives. one is for back up and one is for main copy of videos.
