Help Me Keep My Home In Honour Of My Mother

Dear Kind Souls out there,

I have a mother who passed away last year due to old age. While she was alive, she had this house which was solely in her name. I had been living in this house with her ever since I was born. As she did not make a will before she passed away, this house had to be divided equally between me and my sister due to the intestate succession law after her death.

Sadly, my sister did not intend to keep this flat under her name as she has a matrimonial home with her husband. Her intention was to sell her half share of the flat to get the money, but that would mean selling the whole flat including my share. I pleaded with her to keep the flat, but she was reluctant and mentioned she could get a court order if I refused.

She insisted on me paying her half the market value of the flat to buy over her half share of the house if I would like to keep the whole flat. However, half the market price for the flat is beyond the reach of my pockets.

I would like to appeal to kind souls all over the world to help me raise cash for this campaign, not only to let me have a roof over my head, but also to preserve this house in memory of my late mother. I really wish to continue staying in this house for as long as I live.
