Hi, my name is Ira.
I'm a registered nurse in Singapore. I am planning to open up a company that gives the public an affordable private medical care such as nurses and ancillary health right to their doorsteps.
Singapore and many other developing countries have alarmingly rising silver generation and I believe if I introduce this service and system, the current and future senior citizens will be better managed and care for.
This could also be applied to the disabled community, stroke and cardiac patients and post-operative patients at home.
1) Less national economic expenditures
2) Working main caregivers has less personal leave to care for their parent(s), thus, boosting efficiency workforce
3) Lesser need for admission to nursing home/retirement home
4) More surveillance in health management = quicker management and more complete picture in treatment.
These goals can be done by having teams of healthcare professionals caring in a designated neighborhood that they themselves live nearby. This advantage gives a quicker response when there is a mid-high level priority actions to be done. Saving lives more efficiently and prevents unnecessary scare visits to the emergency room.
Each patient will be monitored to their home vital sign machines that will send data to our system and alert us when there is abnormalities or medical emergencies. Bringing down waiting time and the emergency room and focus on proper emergency cases.
