So I have run out of options and turned to crowdfunding to help assist me with continued study, First some Background. In April I witness a major motor vehicle accident on the N1 in Johannesburg. I was first on scene and pulled a women and her baby out of an over turned car. This was the moment that changed my life, I realized that all I wanted to do in my life was help people and become a paramedic.
In Aug 2018 I enrolled in an EMT-B Course in Windhoek to start my journey on this path. After not studying for 15 years I worked my A** off and graduated with distinctions in two of my four modules. A lot of you saw this achievement and congratulated me, for that I thank you.
So I am currently in Australia and have been presented with a fantastic opportunity to to become more highly qualified and continue to help others and save lives. The Australian Paramedics collage have offered me a partial scholarship to further my studies and graduate as a Level 1 Advanced Life Support Paramedic. They have also recognized my previous achievement and granted me 12 credits out of 17 towards my Diploma in paramedical science. This would mean I would be able to complete my Diploma in 6 months instead of 2-3 years. The problem is even with the partial scholarship the course fees still come in at $6500 AUD a figure outside my budget.
Further if anything is raised above the target the extra will be donated to St John's Ambulance in the country where the most donations come from.
Please Help me make a difference if you can, so I can help Others.
