Campaign Story
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.
The funds will go to the first semester of trade school welding. I intend to use my new skills to earn as much as possible towards the subsequent semesters.
Dear new friend,
My career has been as an entrepeneur and restauranteur... until this economic downturn. After careful consideration, I intend to provide for my family again.
I've always liked to work with my hands and tools. For example, I've always enjoyed working on cars for fun. Considering this new economy my life long interest in welding has come to the forefront. My research reviels an actual shortage of trained welders. Many tools and equipment cannot be disassembled and shipped overseas for repair, and they do break. For example, I've been a snow plow operator in the past. In the dark and deep snow, you hit things and steel does break. Without time for downtime, obviously on the spot repairs are essential. Consider industrial plant equipment and tools.
The entrepeneur in me intends to use my new skill set for business possiblities, of which I already have some ideas, as well as service for hire. In a manpower shortage, my entrepeneurship will undoubtedly have a distinct advantage.
And, most importantly, I'll be able to provide for my family again.
Sincerely,
Hank
In order to keep friendship, one must return it.
