Help me help my heroes

My parents have and always will be my heroes. For 32 years my mom has been my rock and been with me through the best times and the worst times. My stepfather over the last 5 years has been the best father figure I could ever ask for.

Over the last 6 months things have been terrible for them. Due to illness my stepfather was forced to retire and my mother has been extremely ill for the last 3 months too. Because of this they have had to try and live off of my mothers small income while also trying to manage their illness without medical aid as their medical aid has lapsed.

In august things hit rock bottom and they were evicted from the home they were renting and were forced to move in with me in my one bedroom flat. We have done our best to manage over the last few months and have barely gotten through it by making a mountain of debt.

I have done my best to continue supporting them but I am unfortunately not in a great financial position either. What they need is a small leg up to help them until my fathers retirement package is paid out which has been delayed.

The funds raised will be used to help them find their own place where they can stay until they are back on their feet, to get them both back on to medical aid and most importantly to help them just survive through this tough time.

I love my parents with all my heart and soul and it kills me that I am not able to fix everything. I know they will make it through this tough time but with a little assistance it will make their lives so much easier.
