Hi! My name is Victoria. Since 2005, I have spent months at a time volunteering for health causes, disaster services and community development. I've always felt a calling to help wherever I can and whenever I'm able. My next international experience will be in Córdoba, Argentina this September and October with Global Volunteer Network. My main focus will be to help children and adults improve their education by teaching english, cultural differences, and recreation acitivities, to name a few. In Argentina, I will be working with Biblioteca Popular. They are a private, non-profit organization in Córdoba. (Website in Spanish: http://www.bpvs.com.ar) They aim to improve the living conditions of the local population, from a cultural, social and economic perspective.
I heard it said that you never know the true meaning of life until you help someone that can never repay you. So, I say, if you can help someone in need, do it. In this instance, it will cost, a big chunk of change somewhere near $5000. I believe that it is okay to pay to volunteer. The program fee is being used to support GVN international development work. Also, the NGO's that I work with in Córdoba receive some additional financial support, which allows them to continue their great work for the community. But, $5000 is a lot of money, is it not? Now you know why you're here: please help me make this possible by donating!
Thank you family, friends, and loved ones for your continued support. Many blessings to you! -Victoria Watson
