Help me Go to Yonsei Summer School!!!!

Who Am I?
My name is Afroza Khan, a Bangladeshi 24 - years old girl who graduated from Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh as Class of 2018 on last May 12. I have completed my Bachelors in Computer Science and ICT and minored in Mathematics. Here is a picture of my graduation day!

Why Am I Here at GoGetFunding?
I am excited and happy to let everyone know that I have been selected for the Asian Future Leaders scholarship program at Yonsei International Summer School 2019 in Seoul, South Korea this Summer from July - August.

This scholarship and Yonsei University are waiving the tuition fees and accommodation for this program. However, the travel cost and living cost at Seoul has to be carried by myself and the total amount is almost $ 2500.

Estimated Breakdown:

Travel Cost: $ 1,000 (approx.)
Food and Other Expenses: $ 1,500 (approx.)

TOTAL FUNDS NECESSARY - $2,500
MY FUNDRAISING GOAL - $2,000

Coming from a middle class family like mine, where my father is the only earning member and also, has been a cardiac and diabetic patient for about 15 years now, our financial condition is not stable enough to bear such huge expenses like this. AUW had granted me full scholarship during the time of my admission which helped me complete my bachelors and I am here now thanks to my institution and the people who have been there for me throughout this journey.
Now at this stage, this opportunity with such a scholarship is extremely important for me and my future goals which is why, I want to bring your attention to this page.

I need your help for me to be able to go chase my dreams. I am fundraising for myself and to be able to manage the travel cost + living cost in South Korea that will allow me to study my dream subjects at a dream campus like Yonsei University, also known as one of the SKY universities of South Korea.

What are these dreams that I have been talking about repeatedly and why would you like to help me out?

As a child, my life had always been full of a lot of imaginations and me developing stories inside my head, giving them shapes with my tiny color pencils and excitement. However, turned out that I started spending my days wondering about the mysteries behind the 2D world on TV. My dreams unchanged, now aims to be a part of the bigger creative world by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Graphics and Animation. To fulfill this bigger goal in front of me of working as a professional CG and animation artist and also have an international exposure regarding the skills that I already have, I wished to study Introduction to Computer Graphics at Yonsei International Summer School 2018 in South Korea which was granted and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity.

Some of my works -

As extra-curricular activities, I have served AUW Japanese Circle Club as a President for 2 years, AUW IT Club as a Vice-President for 1 year and Youthmappers at AUW for 1 year as a Sectretary. I was involved actively in organizing some of the yearly huge events organized by these clubs and I was also responsible for maintaining these clubs as a member of the Executive Board.
