Help me go to Sri Lanka to volunteer with children and adults with special needs!

Hello and welcome to my fundraising page!

In February I will be flying on my own out to Sri Lanka for 4 weeks to volunteer with children and young adults who have special needs. I will meet other volunteers and work alongside them and other professionals. My aim is to put activities on for these individuals, who have physical and mental disabilities and engage them in tasks and with other individuals, through musical, arts and crafts and sporty activities.

I am really looking forward to this opportunity and I am hoping to build a career in special needs, especially autism, and this will help me build up my experience. For the past year and half I have been working in a school for children and young adults with autism. And I am currently doing home programs and working in a school with individuals with autism.
