Hi! I am Dick Del Rosario, I am currently enrolled as a Human Ecology major at the University of the Philippines. I am honored to be part of the three hundred (300) delegates who will attend the 2019 HPAIR Harvard College Conference composed of students of the highest caliber. This opportunity is a dream come true for me, as after numerous conferences and platforms, I have found that a career in Energy and Environmental Sustainability (which is the track I have been selected to take part in) is my true calling. However, as a non-profit organization, HPAIR is unable to provide financial aid to all the delegates. And having rural roots, I have little to no access to affluent benefactors who would propel my journey. I look to you, friends and strangers, to find it in your heart to succumb to the ambitions of a highly productive and hardworking twenty year old. I am very short on time and would love and be thankful for any help that I receive.

What is HPAIR?
HPAIR is an internationally recognized student organization at Harvard College, offering a forum of exchange to facilitate discussion of the most important economic, political, and social issues relevant to the Asia-Pacific region. Past speakers at our conferences include former President of the Republic of Korea and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kim Dae-Jung, Governor General of Australia Peter Hollingworth, Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, President of Singapore S.R. Nathan, former United States Ambassador to Japan John Thomas Schieffer, and former President of Goldman Sachs Philip Murphy.
Over the years, HPAIR’s international conferences have emerged as one of Harvard College’s largest student-run annual events in the Asia-Pacific region, welcoming a wide variety of distinguished speakers and future leaders. HPAIR believes that finding common ground in Asian-Pacific issues is a dynamic and innovative process, which integrates ideas and actions from across Asia, and indeed, the whole world. It is only through the active participation of highly qualified delegates that this understanding and process can be realized.
